What happens if there is a Hurricane during our holiday?

In the unlikely event that hurricane force winds (as defined by the US National Weather Service) directly hit Orlando whilst you are here, where possible we will endeavour to rearrange your wedding. However, we must follow the appropriate authorities to ensure everyone's safety. If your flight to Orlando is delayed due to a hurricane, again we will try and rearrange your wedding. This offer is subject to change and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. Your rearranged wedding must take place within 8 months of your original wedding date. Dates will be subject to availability

Is there a better time to get married in Florida?

Rain and temperatures are the biggest concerns in Florida, some months hold more risk than others do, June to September  have the greater amounts of rain showers along with high h7umidity and temperatures. January, April, October and December are usually the months with less rain and low humidity. Temperatures are not normally as hot. Hurricane season is from 1st June to 30 September.

What happens after we book our wedding?

From when you book the wedding, until 60 days prior to your wedding you have the opportunity to purchase any add-ons to your wedding package. We will send you a link to do this at the wedding confirmation stage. A month prior to your wedding, you will be sent a link to make the balance payment for your wedding and at this time we request that you also complete our Arrivals links, so we can start working on your welcome letter.

What is the best style of wedding outfit for us to wear?

Whilst it is very much an individual choice, you should keep in mind Florida's tropical climate. We recommend light suits and short- sleeved shirts for the groom and his party. A light dress to give maximum comfort for the bride. Casual clothes are acceptable at all our wedding venues.

Can we get copies of our marriage certificate?

Yes, you can, each additional copy is $3.00 per copy and you should arrange to give this payment to the notary/minister performing your wedding - this way they can enclose it with the wedding license at the time of your wedding being performed.

When do I receive my wedding certificate?

The notary/minister who performs your wedding will forward the signed wedding license to the relevant courthouse. The courthouse will record the marriage and then will send a certified copy of your wedding license back to you. The original wedding license will remain at the courthouse as it forms part of the States Records. This will take approximately 4 - 6 weeks to be returned to you.
